Job Summary: The Water Supply Pumps Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water supply and firefighting pump systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or AGTI in Electrical
- Strong understanding of water supply pumps, centrifugal pumps, booster systems, pump operation principles, piping systems, and hydraulic fundamentals.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in pumps, motors, control panels, and associated equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with jockey pumps, diesel fire pumps, electric fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, and relevant firefighting system standards and operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, pump curves, piping diagrams, control schematics, and maintenance documentation to support installation and service activities.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills, commitment to workplace safety standards, technical reporting ability, and willingness to travel and respond effectively to on-site and emergency service requirements.
